Rose’s handmade doll named Rose. Made by her mother, just as her grandmother made one for her mom.

Naila’s homemade tortilla made by her and her father. Her Spanish heritage and baking are important elements within her household.

Helen shared her cultural experiences while living in Kyrgyzstan. Her vest and hat are hand made as well as a small lidded box designed as a yurt.

Mabel shared a beautiful book from her home country. Why I love Australia by bronwyn bancroft. These pictures were stunning!

Jan completed a beautiful collage of all the cultural aspects of his home country of Turkey. From handmade carpets, beaches, art, food, and Turkish baths, he was eager to share.
